Half of the leaves on my Christmas Cactus look great but the other half looks wrinkled. I watered it when j noticed it a couple weeks ago but it hasn't improved. Thoughts?

Could it be root related? Drainage issue or too frequently watered? Just an amateur’s guess. I water mine much less frequently than Planta suggests. I always use a moisture meter now.

I think the pot looks too crowded. I would consider moving it to a larger pot. Also, Christmas cactus do not like overly dry soil. They are not like a desert cactus. They grow in trees where they have humid environment and even moisture. A little dry is okay but not dry to the Bone like a desert cactus

I had one of these for a while. Mine did this after years of having it and I was a plant newbie at the time I suspect that it has something to do with roots as I had left mine in the same pot for quite some time. I recommend replanting it in a slightly bigger pot and making sure that you add some fertilizers to it and also make sure you do not overwater it or otherwise it will not be happy with you lol
