# I had this dracaena ~3ish years, the top leaves have recently grown…

I had this dracaena ~3ish years, the top leaves have recently grown in spotty.

What is it lacking that caused this?

I only water when the moisture meter says dry. It’s in a 12in pot with drainage, it gets fertilized regularly. It’s about 4 ft away from a south facing window. (It used to live in a sad dark corner but I moved it (last summer I think?).

Thoughts?

I think it’s light. It looks likes it’s trying to grow towards it

Can you possibly put it near the bookshelf by your window?

I can move the book shelf and put it there yes. I’ll move it slowly so it doesn’t get burned. Thank you
