# Can anyone tell me what is going on with my Rubber plant. Most of the…

Can anyone tell me what is going on with my Rubber plant. Most of the leaves are perfectly healthy but there are 2 or 3 like this.  
Its in a window that only gets morning sun, but also has a grow light on it for 6 hrs if the day.  
I don’t think I’m over watering it, as I’m going with what the app says.

Thanks for any help.

Looks like pest damage to me

Oh shoot. Yup. I took a better look at the leaves underneath and there are tiny black bugs.

Oh no! Sounds like thrips. Those are tough to completely get rid of. Good luck!

I’ve never had them before :( darn. This plant was given to me when dad passed 2 months ago. I hope I can get rid of them.

Just fyi, the app schedule almost always causes overwatering. I would suggest knowing how dry your plants like to get between waterings. When the app says to water, check your soil, and if it’s still too moist then snooze the task for a couple days. Don’t always just water when it says to.
