Hi everyone

A couple weeks ago I attended an event that involved plant propagation, and I obtained a young coleus plant. I don’t know a whole lot about the species all I know is that they love water and partial sunlight, so at the moment I am uncertain how healthy the plant actually is. So far its health is sent to bad since the tops of the leaves are yellow, but the undersides are a light pink, so I wanted to know from other perspectives how healthy the plant actually is and what I can do to improve it.

I currently live in a single dorm room and my plant resides on my windowsill, which faces east.

Coleus needs full direct sunlight at least 8 hours a day to keep its color and thrive. Getting only east light is insufficient.

A grow light running 12 hours to 14 hours a day would work. 🍀🪴
