Does anyone know what’s going on with my ficus rubber tree? I have suspicions that my roommate is watering and potentially fertilizing my plants despite having been asked not to touch them. I’m an experienced gardener and I’ve done a bunch of research trying to solve this issue. Despite research, careful, care, and experience the fact that I’m dealing with these issues is confusing.

Why is your roommate touching your plants! lol

Beautiful rubber tree. I’ve only seen spots like this when mine was in direct sun. Here is a thread I saw that looks like yours

I sometimes have this same leaf problem, but I water consistently.

Yeah, the roomie is not supposed to be touching it. They know this theoretically. Thanks everyone for the advice and help.
