# 🚨Fungus gnats have plagued all of my houseplants🚨 HELP!!!

A quarter inch of fine sand will work as well. But honestly, I was plagued with them and I finally gave in and got death drops. I use them at every watering and I finally have it under control. I did completely replace the soil in a couple of the plants that were the worst Before I started the death drops.

I have BTI drops added to my water, systemic granules in my soil, yellow sticky traps in the pots most affected and a Zevo plug in. I no longer have gnats. Also, let soil dry completely before watering keeps them from coming back.

I have had to repot plants that were holding on to moisture for too long.

Idk if this will help but I just bought a bag of mosquito bits to stop the larvae (still have yet to put some in all my pots) and then I use the sticky traps for the adults.
