Oh no! You might be able to save that stalk by propagating it in some water! They take FOREVER to root though. It is a good idea to repot it if the soil is super wet and check and trim the roots if they are starting to rot.

Sigh🥲will do will do. I was hoping to postpone for a few months but I guess it’s necessary now :)

Remove the pot and check the roots for rot. Then, cut off the rotten roots and stems. Disinfect the cut areas with hydrogen peroxide. Clean and disinfect the pot and cutting tools to prevent spreading bacteria. Use fresh dry soil to repot. Give it more light. Plants getting sufficient light use more water and grows faster. 🪴🍀

Speaking from experience, zz plants do well with neglect… was supposed to water mine 4 days ago… I’ll get to it 😂

Lmao I hear yaa😭might want to wait a few more days even after that too haha

I learned my mistake with those !!! They’re my favourite plants but I usually wait 30-35 days between watering. They always prefer dryness than overwatering.

Apologies for my delayed response🥲 I’ve taken your advice though. Thanks Lee🙌🏾
