# I just got this plant cutting. I was wondering if anybody could idea…

I just got this plant cutting. I was wondering if anybody could idea or give me any suggestions about how to propagate it?  
I just have it in a bowl of water right now because it won’t stand up

you can cut the stem to get rid of the bendy part, as there are plenty of nodes (the lines on the stem). i would cut below the second or third node, and that will allow it to stand in a vase or something similar!

you can either keep it growing in water, or pot it in a well draining chunky mix when its roots are 2-3 inches, and the roots have roots. give it bright indirect light, and change the water once a week or if you see sediment in the water.

im not 100% sure, but the kind of plant looks like a chinese evergreen variety, or a dieffenbachia!
