# Was messing around with my plants and checking them out, saw…

Was messing around with my plants and checking them out, saw something. Weird in the soil went to put it against a light, long story short, Larry decided growing mold was a good idea! So happy (🤥) taking him to get repotted at the plant vets (plant shop) tomorrow, what lovely money savers Planta are!!!!

this is a generally harmless fungus. however, since this is a cactus, it can indicate your soil is staying wet longer than your plant would prefer. i would take it out of the plastic pot \& repot this into terra cotta - no need to size up! you can sprinkle some cinnamon on the fungus

No, I’m not sure I haven’t researched them yet

it’s some kind of saprophytic fungi
