# Help! My dieffenbachia leaves wont stop yellowing I’ve only had it…

Help! My dieffenbachia leaves wont stop yellowing I’ve only had it about a week or two and I just don’t know what I’m doing wrong. It gets lots of sun, I don’t think I’ve over watered it and it doesn’t have any pests I don’t know what I could change.

You could try a much smaller pot. A too large pot will hold too much moisture and keep the roots constantly wet.

Aerate the soil and let it completely dry between waterings

How do you aerate the soil?

Literally poke holes in it with a skewer/water meter/pencil to help make the soil less compact and allow air in to help dry it out
