# Hi all! My cousin has a peace lily that is having some issues (leaves…

Hi all! My cousin has a peace lily that is having some issues (leaves dying, tips browning ect).

I took it out of the pot to investigate the roots and they seem healthy (no odor or root rot). I’m wondering if it’s unhappy because it’s in too big of a pot, being watered with tap water, and not being fertilized.

If you have any advice, please feel free to give it up!

I’m guessing the tap water is the main problem

I bought another peace lily after hearing that they LOVE living in water. It’s soooo true. I did this about 1 1/2 months ago and she is now pushing out a new leaf! Maybe urs wants to live the same way. Just a suggestion. 😊

I really want to suggest switching to a hydroponic method, I think it looks sooo cool!
