# Oh my god I got a Polk a dot plant recently and still haven’t…

Oh my god I got a Polk a dot plant recently and still haven’t repotted it because life is crazy but please tell me these are not bug eggs or I’m throwing it away😭 what do I do? Is it too late for this plant?

It looks like scale eggs 😔

No clue what that is except that it’s a no from me! Lol do they go on spider plants? I don’t see any so far on my spider plant. How do I prevent this?!

Scale is a an infestation by tiny, sap-sucking insects that attach themselves to stems, leaves, and branches. How close is your spider to this plant ?

(Yes spiders can get scale)

Lol I threw them out! How do I prevent this in the future?!😭

Errr…I don’t know. 😅  
I have so far only had scale on any plants once and those plants are gone now.  
My only advice is don’t buy plants with scale, but I know that’s not exactly possible at all times.  
I’m hoping that if I very encounter scale again I’ll be able to figure it out, but until then, all I can say is “best of luck!” 🍀
