Needing guidance!

I wanted to help this plant.. definitely thought it was something else.. idk what I thought it was. 😅🤦🏻‍♀️ But anywayyyyyyy...

This is my Apoballis Acuminatissima 'Lavallaei' aka Homalomena 'purple sword'.

If anyone knows any tips/tricks/useful info please share! I have been trying to read up on this guy but I am new to plants and nervous 😬

Also - name ideas? 💡
