# How do I save this pothos? I bought her at Home Depot and her pot was…

How do I save this pothos?  
I bought her at Home Depot and her pot was overflowing with water so when I brought it home I changed the soil so it wouldn’t be drowning anymore and didn’t water it for a few days and now she’s turning all yellow and droopy with dark spots.

The roots look fine. I would repot with a good soil mixture, and make sure you water it thoroughly.

I did that and then the plant just started looking worse.  
It looked fine in store but once I brought it home and changed the soil it it not doing good

Personally that plant is from a bunch of cuttings not just one plant I would separate it a little and repot them in separate pots I just had these same issue not the separate plants are thriving

I agree with this. I would personally separate them until you have 2 cuttings to a new pot and repot them all, they might have been shocked from being too many cuttings in a single pot

Agreed! It's a big clump of roots so separating will help you make sure you got rid of any possible rot. Gentlely squeeze and tug on the roots individually. If they are mushy or pull off easily, they are rotted so chop off anything like that. Then I would cut off all the yellow spotty leaves. Lastly I would spray or soak roots with a mix of 1 part filtered water and 1 part hydrogen peroxide to kill any bacteria.

When this same thing happened to me, I did all of the above but my cuttings still couldn't settle into soil so I stuck them in water for several weeks to give them time for the shock to wear off and that did the trick. They started popping out new roots and the leaves perked up. Good luck!!
