# Anyone got some good advice on how to get rid of scale bugs. They…

Anyone got some good advice on how to get rid of scale bugs. They seem to love my lemon tree and I’ve noticed them on a couple of other plants recently too.  
Short of soapy water and picking them off by hand I’m at a loss as to what else I can do.  
Any decent spray that works??  
All advice greatly appreciated.  
Am in the uk btw.

You can put isopropyl alcohol on a q-tip and brush it on the scale or spray it with horticultural oil to smother them. They are not uncommon on citrus and can be hard to get rid of.

Arber insecticide works quite well on them.
