Hey! Ive been dealing with mealybugs for a while, and i cannot seem to get rid of them. I treat one plant, then i find them on another!! I’m trying to be careful w spreading but its so hard :( I treat them using this cleaning solution made of natural oils, thats supposed to kill the bugs but spare the plant (i cant find a name for it in english). Evidently, its not working well enough. Any tips on getting rid of them for good?

Oh, and i forgot to mention it’s mostly my painted nettles that are getting the worst of it. Idk if thats of any relevance

Ok have you isolated the sick plant from the others even after treating it. My suggestion would be spray all plants off lightly in the shower or outside with a water hose after you have sprayed them down with insecticidal soap for a few minutes. ( protect the soil of your plants) unless that plant needs to be watered anyways. Then still keep sick plant away from others for a while. If your using pruning shears make sure you always clean them before going to another plant, if you are not wearing gloves before touching a different one wash your hands or always switch to clean gloves. Then spray neem oil or any protective measures you use for your plants then give them time to bounce back from shock

Oh yeah I would also go ahead and repot in fresh top soil especially in the sick plant

Swipe away any dusty patches and mealy bugs you see using a q-tip and alcohol. It’s not only fun, it kills them immediately.
