# Hi, My fiddle leaf fig is growing leaves at the bottom instead of…

Hi,

My fiddle leaf fig is growing leaves at the bottom instead of having new growth at the top. Should I remove the bottom leaves to redirect the energy to the top? And im also wondering if the top node is dead.
