# Anybody know what’s happening to my dieffenbachia? Bottom leaves…

Anybody know what’s happening to my dieffenbachia? Bottom leaves started yellowing, even after watering. I don’t think I’m overwatering as it’s been over a week since I last watered.

it could be that theyre making room for the new growth - you can pull them off the plant, but if more leaves keep yellowing, then check the roots for rot.  
if you see any signs of it then trim off the mushy roots, spray with diluted hydrogen peroxide, and repot into fresh soil with a pot 1-2 inches bigger than the root ball
