# I got this lemon balm plant for free because it needs a little extra…

I got this lemon balm plant for free because it needs a little extra TLC. There are some brown spots on some leaves and I'm not sure it's suppose to be so vine-like. Any advice on care would be appreciated!

Overall, the plant looks healthy. I recommend cutting it back, monitoring water closely as early signs of overwatering are present, and fertilizing later with a water-soluble fertilizer. Normal care after all that, should grow very large and have twice the thickness maybe triple.

Additional notes: it’s vine like this because it’s growing fast. Which is good prob because of heat. Brown spots are from watering on the leaves, creating a magnifying effect and burning the leaves from the water sitting. Honestly an easy fix. 🙂
