Hi plant parents! I have a Peace Lilly that is about 2 years old. She bloomed and was very happy most of the time. The last six months, she has gotten tons of brown on her leaves and just looks crispy. I did repot her to a bigger pot (2 inches bigger) and chopped off all the brown leaves (yes this was impulsive and I probably should not have done this)…neither have seemed to help her and she continues to get brown dried up crispy edges on her leaves. Any suggestions?

Did you add any fertilizer when you repotted? Almost looks like fertilizer burn. Also, with the change in pot size, is it possible the watering is off? Mine tends to damage her leaves if I let her get too dry or water too much.

I didn’t add any fertilizer but I am having trouble deciding when to water. I used to just water when she got a little droopy but now she is crispy so maybe I am over doing it!

Not to worry about the pruning! It’s good you took off the bad leaves so the plant isn’t using too much energy trying to hold onto them

It might be sunburned, and trim of any leaves that have gone to far and give it some humidity
