# Had no idea that my arrowhead was a vine until a few months ago when…

Had no idea that my arrowhead was a vine until a few months ago when it started changing shape (was a bushy plant when i bought it). I was very uneducated and bought it because it was so pretty lol. Anyway this big piece broke off yesterday when I went to move it a little. Can I put the broken piece in soil or water or do I have to just throw it away? Appreciate any advice! 🥹

Hi! Yes throw it in water near a window :) Should grow roots in a few weeks. Those little bumps you see on the vine are where the roots will grow out from
