I got this monstera two weeks ago, it had preexisting leaf damage. I watered it on Saturday and let it get some direct sunlight for about half an hour. I then noticed this bruise on Sunday. Any clue on why it’s happening? This is a younger leaf that was pretty beat up as you can see. Is it a water pressure thing? Sunlight burn?

It's a burn from the direct light. Newer leaves haven't "hardened" and can be sensitive to quick environmental changes. Also, monsteras like bright light, but not direct light unless acclimated to it..
