# Hi all! So my Florida green philo has been super healthy up until…

Hi all! So my Florida green philo has been super healthy up until this leaf and I can’t tell what the problem is….i switched this plant to semi hydro with leca about two weeks ago and it’s putting out new growth that all looks healthy too, any idea?

If it’s an older leaf sometimes they just die off or its just getting used to its new environment in the semi hydro

That makes sense! I was just worried with the loss of color and the specific spot that it may be something else but maybe I just need to be more patient lol!

If the rest of the plant looks healthy, and it’s growing new healthy shoots, it very possibly could just be a bad leaf. Prune it and it’ll probably be okay.

Just wait until the leaf falls off. I’m pretty sure it’s transferring the energy to the rest of the plant (unless I’m remembering it wrong)
