Please help the roots have completely withered but it still has leaves on top plus I have repotted thinking it will help I don’t know what to do. it’s a spider plant

Time to toss it. It can only recover with roots. Try again with a new one.

This one looks pale which could indicate too low lighting, too low fertilizer or inconsistent watering:  
\- Put the next one in bright indirect light  
\- Fertilize in spring and summer, the growing seasons.  
\- Let the soil dry completely before watering again to avoid root rot 🍀🪴
