Bought this plant a month ago and news leaves unraveled, but 2 of the existing leaves are starting to turn yellow. I've only watered it once since I've gotten the plant making sure the first inch or two of the soil is dry first.

It probably is just doing a normal alocasia cycling of leaves, pushing out new ones and getting rid of old ones. Especially since the other leaves look healthy and gorgeous

I was going to say that also...I was freaking out about my alocasia doing that but apparently that is just what they do. Lol
