Hello I’m finding what I think are thrips on my plants! A lot of my plants! Besides spraying with Neem mixture, is there anything else I can do? I don’t want to lose a bunch of them! Thank you

If you have a large infestation, I would take them outside (or out in shower) and really spray them all down, paying close attention to the underside of leaves/stems. You can also use SUPER Insecticidal Soap and do the same thing. This will need to be applied weekly until they’re gone.

Then I would get systemic granules and apply per the directions. This gives you a long term (3 month) chemical way to try to make sure you rid your plant of them.

If it’s not a lot of them, organically, you can get beneficial insects (they’re tiny, you can’t really see them with the naked eye).

My experience was trying organic for about 6 weeks and then deciding to go more drastically and do chemical. The organic just didn’t do enough. I’m just now (almost 9 months later) feeling like they’re all gone. Beneficial insects are a great preventative measure, so I use them regularly now
