# wonder if anyone can give me advice on this i noticed that it hadn't…

wonder if anyone can give me advice on this  
i noticed that it hadn't grown in some time and the stems had started turning brown so i got it out the pot to notice there were no roots at all  
the bottom part is brown but the end of it is still green so im not sure if it would indicate root rot at all?

can i put this in some water to help it grow its roots or is there anything else i can do to help it?

Set it in some water and let it propagate. This will happen fast then put it in the soil.

I don't think it's root rot. Chop a bit off and put it in water. My pileas have grown crazy fast in water. You can leave in water or repot to soil later. As an example, here's 2 of my pileas. Left one I let it grow in water, the right one was in water then repotted to soil
