# My fire flash started struggling about 2 weeks ago. I am battling…

My fire flash started struggling about 2 weeks ago. I am battling gnats and have cut down the issue significantly, however, I’m worried about why she’s black on the stems and not as full as she was a couple weeks ago. I started using filtered water for her, but she was getting tap water. She is in a Mom Pot and has a drainage hole. She is under a grow light, as my windows are west facing and will definitely scorch her. Any guidance/help is greatly appreciated!

black on the stems says rot — pull it out and get eyes on the roots
