Hi all! First time posting. I just got this monstera from someone a little over a week ago, it was just repotted the day before as well so i know shes going through a little shock. Her leaves have started yellowing, and i wanted to make sure it wasnt anything bad and see how to fix it. Ive never owned a monstera before so id really appreciate the help!

Possibly sun or heat damage:/ im not an expert but thats just an idea. Good luck!!

How’s the drainage on your pot?  
What’s your soil like?

Could be a couple different things.  
Shock from the repotting for sure.  
Too much water or inconsistent watering.  
Too much direct sunlight.

I would check to see how your soil is doing when it comes to drying out.  
Make sure you’re not over watering, and make sure your soil is chunky and allows good airflow.

Its about 12ft from the nearest window, so definitely not too much sun. The pot has good drainage with a plate underneath to catch extra water. Ive had a humidifier on her daily for a few hours since i was told monsteras like a humid environment. Its definitely been hotter than usual in the apartment since we dont have AC but it hasnt gone above 80f inside.

Could be inconsistent watering since i just got her, i probably water her on a different schedule than the last lady who gave her to me.

It may be too far from a light source if it is 12 ft from a window. It can yellow from insufficient light.

It looks overwatered. Let the soil dry out. Verify the dryness with a wooden skewer or chopstick. Don’t follow a strict watering schedule.

Mines right in a west facing window with a lot of direct sun in the afternoon and shade the rest of the day and super happy. She did the same thing when she was too far to get direct sun
