# Help! I’ve had this ficus for 4-5 years now and it’s been thriving in…

_Posted by Alessia 🦢 on 2024-10-06_

Help! I’ve had this ficus for 4-5 years now and it’s been thriving in my care, I’ve had it out this summer reported beginning of august and it’s been doing great! Towards the end of sept I moved it inside and it’s began browning the ends of its leaves I chopped off the bottom leaves and the browning but it keeps coming back😭! Any solutions or answers to this problem are greatly appreciated!!! (The top leaves are fine and it’s been putting out new growth)

Here’s the soil btw I don’t think it’s under or over watering (could it be root rot tho?)

That happened to mine too! I think it’s the change in environment. I live in an area where it was 55-85 outside and then I brought it in to constant 69 with a much lower humidity. It balanced out after a while and it stopped browning
