# This window faces the East…I just started putting my plants here in…

This window faces the East…I just started putting my plants here in the morning cuz the Spider plan keeps having leaves just fall off and the tips are browning when they were under grow lights…and the money trees also keep having leaves in chunks fall off. Is this too much sun? Or is this ideal?

The east window should be fine. Have you checked for bugs? Leaves dropping can be a huge spider mite red flag

That maybe too far from the light especially if there are bug screens on the windows that also filter sunlight. Check the amount of light reaching the plants with a light meter app or a light meter.
