I got this tiny African violet about 4 weeks ago. I’ve never had any problems with them, as i have a couple bigger ones. But it turns out to be really small and sad :( I don’t know if i can save it, if there’s anything I can do to help it out tell me. My mom got it for me as a gift while I was gone and potted it with a baby rubber plant (not the best idea). 🌱

The leaves look ok just some dirt on them, the flowers cant be saved but thats ok as the plant wont always be in bloom. It can definitely be saved i think if you clean the leaves a little and pot it somewhere else :)

How should I safely take it out of the pot? I don’t want it getting mixed up with the other plant.

I dont really know what you mean? you should just be able to scoop it out

I was worried about the roots a little bit but I repotted and the process was just fine.

I agree with the other comment, the leaves are fine but the flower has just wilted off. It’s just part of AV cycle. I would place it in its own pot though, since they are tedious when it comes to watering.

Probably a miniature or micro miniature African violet. Miniatures grow 6” wide per google. I’ve seen the micros at stores. The articles say treat it like the full size plants. The roots probably are not established in that temporary pot. The sooner it gets its own tiny pot the better.
