# I named this bird of paradise after my bird so its name is buttercup…

I named this bird of paradise after my bird so its name is buttercup hope.

But it’s been looking more and more sad. Really hoping to help making it better. Does anyone know why it’s leave has all these black spots? Thanks a lot

Overwatering or too much direct sunlight.

Thank you so much.  
It was raining a lot outside so maybe it got overwatered then back. Just curious what’a the best for me to save this plant? Really appreciate it

I would check for root rot and re-pot in fresh chunky soil. Good luck. (And not to panic, but I was wondering if pests 🤷‍♀️). Might want to add systemic granules to new soil and wash off leaves. Even spray them with rubbing alcohol.
