Hey all, I recently got a money tree (about a month ago) and the leave have been curling and they have brown spots on them. It also has a soft spot on the base of the one trunk. It’s in indirect bright light so I don’t think it’s sun burn but I’m not sure what else it could be? Any advice is appreciated!

Soft spot on the trunk is probably rot 😬 Do you let the soil dry out completely between watering? I’d check the roots for rot (squishy and slimy roots), but might be good to wait for a second opinion.

I always let it dry out, I will have to check the roots but I was wondering if it was almost too dry?

That could be it for the leaves but I’m not sure about the trunk being soft. Do you check the soil with a bamboo stick or anything to make sure it’s completely dry?
