# Hey - is this Blueberry Rust? If so has anyone had any success…

Hey - is this Blueberry Rust? If so has anyone had any success treating it or is it too far gone? Ideally I’d like to avoid harsh chemicals.

Looks more fungal, with the spots on the leaves, usually blueberry rust is orangey

I’m wondering if it is early stage. Trying to work out best way to treat. I have removed a load of leaves already, but never dealt with fungal issues before.

Yeah, that’s good to remove most leaves with it. You can never truly remove fungus, you can make it go into remission within the plant and allow the plant to have new growth without fungus. I’d try some sort of food grade fungal spray or neem oil and try and treat it that way. Also repotting can help the spread of fungus from the soil to the roots and into the leaves
