I am infested with gnats in all of my plants. I’ve repotted with new dirt. I’m using Mosquito Bits in everything when watering and I put them in just with the sticky stuff on either sides. My husband has put the Zevos in the outlets around my plants but nothing is working. The gnats are flying around in your faces now….countertops!!! I can’t stand it. I don’t want to get rid of my plants but….. Someone help me!!!!!

The bits will take a few weeks to kill all the larvae, and that’s the same case with the sticky and zero traps. The only thing I can recommend is to consider repotting the plants with gnats into fresh, dry soil, keeping the sticky traps around, and quarantining any plants that don’t have gnats in them from the ones that do. Hope this helps, and hope the very relatable war against fungus gnats ends soon for you!

Sticky traps will work, but it might take 2 or 3 weeks to get them all. I had the same problem, but eventually we eradicated them and plants were all okay

When using the mosquito bits are you just placing them on the top of the soil? Or are you soaking them in water and then watering your plants like that? I saw a big difference when i made the tea and watered regularly!

Both!!

Beneficial nematodes eradicated my gnat problem very quickly. Changing your watering routine is key too. Try bottom watering and letting the soil dry out a bit more. You can win this battle!!

I have sprinkled cinnamon on my outdoor plant and it worked but it wasn’t an “infestation” and idk if that kills the eggs.
Check the post a few scrolls up…someone posted a remedy there. Good luck!

I just got this fan on Amazon and it worked instantly! The gnat problem is everywhere I swear. Way better than the plug in version. Caught 100 gnats in 24 hours. Someone just posted about the mosquito control here \& there’s great reviews for how well it works with gnats. Good luck
