Can anyone tell me why my fiddle leaf figs leaves are looking brownish and holey?

The leaves at the top of your tree look unaffected? I’m wondering if the browning/holes are just signs of age and general wear and tear. The leaves at the bottom would be oldest and they don’t last forever …. Your fig tree, overall, looks to be absolutely flourishing!

From research I’ve done about several of mine say fungal infection. I’ve read that 1tsp of baking soda, 2 drops of dish soap and 1 liter of water sprayed on the leaves will take care of it but the brown spots will not go away? If it’s made it to most of the leaf or the stem it needs to be cut off. Have no clue if it actually works but plan to try this weekend. Good luck!
