So this plant was very dry so I was giving it a thorough soak in some water for a few minutes when SO MANY long white tiny bugs were swimming around in the water😭😭 the health of this plant hasn’t been great for a long time, but I don’t see any signs of pests on the leaves. Please tell me this is what fungus gnat larvae look like and these aren’t thrips.

Also in Canada we don’t have access to systemic granules.
Not opposed to chucking the plant to save my collection

Ps this same plant had mealy bugs not that long ago.

Springtails! They are harmless and actually beneficial.

Thank you!

There are different colors and variety, but If they look like this, it's springtails. They eat mold, not a pest.
