I just got a begonia maculata in the mail, and one of its leaves looks a bit rough. Should I just cut off this leaf?

I would said cut it, she won’t get any better. Cutting it will allow the plant to focus in new growth. I got my in the mail too. She looks fantastic.

Thank you! The leaf has been chopped!

These are fast growers so she’ll give you new leaves in no time!

Shipping can be tough on Begonias, and stress from transport and climate changes is common. Remove any dead or dying leaves to encourage new, healthy growth. Allow the plant to acclimate to its new environment for about three weeks before introducing any fertilizer.
