Bought this cat palm from Home Depot and it looked great when we first brought it home. We clearly have not been doing something right because he looks so sad now. Please help! Planta says it’s overwatered so I’ve been paying close attention and letting it dry out a little further before watering again. I tried trimming back the dead and dying parts in hopes that would help and none of those leaves have grown back. Maybe I need to change the location? Does anyone have any thoughts? 😔

I do not have experience with this plant, but to get you started…

I checked the plant info and it says it needs high humidity but you have it listed as normal humidity. I believe plants like this can look like that when they are too dry. Do you have a humidifier next to it? It also said it needs to be misted weekly. Hopefully someone else will chime in soon who has experience with this plant specifically.❤️
