# Hello everyone, I’m looking for some help and advice! My poor ficus…

Hello everyone, I’m looking for some help and advice!

My poor ficus tree has started to drop leaves like crazy! They are turning brown and then falling off. The branches seem to be dropping too.

I put the tree in the shower everyone month for around 15 minutes as I was told to when I bought it. Maybe I should repot with new soil?

I bought the tree in July 2023 and you can see such a stark difference in its appearance today! Please help!

What can I do to save my tree?

Dose it has direct light??? They need a lot of light

I’m thinking your plant would like some extra light to start. Ficus are easy to prune and shape lucky. You should be able to get this to look better but it may take some time

I agree better light. It looks like it’s bending towards the light and getting leggy in attempts to get more light

They can be finicky. They don’t like to be moved even within the same room. They will drop leaves like crazy from my experience.

They do better in higher humidity. Too dry of a house, especially from heaters, can cause leaves to drop in winter.

Full sun or very bright light (south/west window) is ideal. Consider getting a large grow light. 🍀🪴
