# any idea what could be happening here? normal leaf loss? four of them…

any idea what could be happening here? normal leaf loss? four of them just completely fell off, barely touched it. no signs of pests, roots are perfectly fine. i know the soil is a little dense but because the roots are all good i don't want to mess with them too much if there isn't anything wrong. last watered a week ago, east facing window.

Those roots look fine but check the base of the stem. Because the fallen leaves look like rot.

just checked, stem is all firm and good, including the nodes these leaves fell off of. i'm only more confused now lol
