# I got this hanging plant around 6-7 months ago. It’s started to…

I got this hanging plant around 6-7 months ago. It’s started to slowly turn yellow and loose its leaves. There are black nubs all over the plants nears the leaves and the stems are also starting to blacken. Should I repot? What else should be done to save her?!

I would recommend getting a bigger pot for it. These things are pretty hardy though. I’d recommend some fertilizer as well. My sister adds some to hers and it took over her entire dining room within a year or two.

I trim mine so there’s not so much weight on each hanging limb. That has prompted more growth in the center and made for a much fuller plant overall. Also, remove yellow leaves versus waiting for them to fall off on their own. Not only will it make the plant look nicer, it will aid your healthy leaves since they won’t be competing for nutrients with the ones that are dying.
