Hello! I got this peace lily from Home Depot and noticed some small holes on a few leaves. I don’t think it has any pests other than one or two gnats, could gnats cause this or is it something else?

Also, should I cut off the damaged tissue?

it mostly just looks like physical damage to me where maybe it was bumped into or the leaf was folded during transit to the store/unloaded and not a pest problem!
