# I have my elephant ear plant in leca that sits in water. I haven’t…

I have my elephant ear plant in leca that sits in water. I haven’t changed the water in 2 months (really busy with school +life). I just kept adding water to the bucket. Anywho my plant is doing fine. I’m changing the water and there is brown clumpy stuff in it. Like algae. What is this?

Looks like mould to me- fresh water and a little clean of the container should do the trick!

Turns out it was big chunks of the bulb that was decaying😕
