# My string of pearls, not sure what’s going on. Did it get to dry/wet…

My string of pearls, not sure what’s going on. Did it get to dry/wet to close to the window?? For the most part the bad spots are right where the strings hangover the pot.
I’ve tried to remove the bad strings and plan on propagating. What kind of soil would be best to lay them in? Would a glass baking dish with plastic wrap over it work good?

I’ve had it for about 3-4 weeks and I waited to water it until the pearls got a little soft and wrinkled.

Looks like a healthy string of pearls to me! When there is a short supply of water, plants will often sacrifice the older leaves in order for the new growth to survive. I would pick off the dry bits and place the healthy parts back onto the top of the soil with the nodes touching the soil

There isn’t any open soil to put the strings on the top of this plant, should I just put them in their own soil in a different pot
