So I know there has to be something wrong with this plant that I saved from Walmart, I believe it’s the mermaid tail succulent? Might possibly be wrong so lmk please 😁. The “dead” pieces are like, solidified? They’re so stuck to the point I’m scared to pull them off. The rest of the plant is kinda soft, like not thoroughly cooked noodles soft. I’m hoping there’s a way to save it because I think it’s so unique 🥹, she’s beautiful. 😭

I think it looks like a euphorbia flanaganii crested “Medusa head.” It sounds overwatered. I would inspect the soil and potentially repot with fresh succulent soil, clipping the dead bits off with clean plant shears/scissors :)) I’ve never seen one at the store, neat find!
