I need help! All my money tree leaves have been turning from a healthy green to yellow, then falling off. I haven’t changed my routine care for it, I have been watering once a week. There is still new growth, but I’ve been losing a lot of the leaves and am not sure what the cause could be. It’s an indoor plant, gets the afternoon sun, and have a mixed soil to allow for proper drainage. All bands have been cut from roots in the past.

Do you water weekly when you know it needs it or just as a routine? Even with airy soil plants can become water logged if roots are not given time take it up

Is it in a terracotta pot? \[Hard to tell in pic\] if so... I'm guessing with that beautiful sunlight its getting... its loosing its moisture and drying out to quickly. I would try moving it slightly further from the window and give it an extra soaking and see if that helps

Too much direct sun in my opinion.
Afternoon sun is probably too strong.

I think it’s the sun because I have one that’s around 6 ft+ tall and during a really sunny week some of the leaves yellowed. Maybe try moving it to a less sunny spot, but still a spot that gets enough sun.
