# My prayer plant is sprouting leaves but lately they are shriveling up…

My prayer plant is sprouting leaves but lately they are shriveling up before they can unfurl. Any suggestions?

I only use distilled water for my prayer plants. They don’t even like filtered water that much. Also, I mist mine daily.

Agreed with the distilled water mentioned above 👆🏼. What’s your care like? Watering, light, soil and such?

It has a grow light, I water it when the soil is low on moisture but not completely dried out. I water all my plants with water from my fish tank to get the nutrients from the fish waste. Have had this plant for 4 months in the exact same conditions without issue. I can try to increase misting to see if that helps.
