# I recently got a Chinese Evergreen plant and the leaves seem to be…

I recently got a Chinese Evergreen plant and the leaves seem to be curling up. Does anyone know why? Also i bought it already in a self watering pot which im not the biggest fan of so i watered it from the top for its first watering. I added a picture of it from when i first got it (the last pic)  
also it’s my first time with this plant !!  
I had to cut a leaf off bc it turned yellow 😕

I have a more mature one and this type (Maria) the leaves do curl and wave on sides like that! I’ve also got a miss Juliette that grows the same! Don’t be worried :)

Not often at all! I almost let it completely dry out in between waterings
